‘Big men’ come and swoop down upon us
like hawks diving down on cowed, helpless mice.
They come, whether we want them to or not,
like bad weather or other natural disasters.
What if ‘big men’ didn’t come,
staying away and left us free and unmolested?
What if, when ‘big men’ came, swooping down upon us;
expecting to take all they want (and more);
one mouse turned around, holding and aiming a rifle
and shot the hawk out of the sky?
What if?

By the way, If you haven't heard by now writers ARE dangerous. They're usually enemies of the State in one way or another. The State (any state) fears the spread of knowledge and trys to discredit and eliminate any and all purveyors of knowledge and critical thinking. Ultimately the State fails and implodes because the stale ideas of the State are no match for the Writer's tools and abilities. After all, wasn't it Edward Bulwer-Lytton that said "The pen is mightier than the sword."

Perhaps Professor David Kaiser could not bear the worldview with which I wrote a few corrections about the Tea Party? Perhaps he could/would not answer my questions?
How can someone so educated be so ignorant of the history that is unfolding right around us?
